I have been back-and-forth exactly 5 times to have the doctor look at it each time. Its no better I requested to have it off and his response was no its not the crown.

Verified ReviewerAbuse of power
- Dentalworks charges $2k cash for Botox shots; $4k if you delay.
- Off-site location used; not a Dentalworks office.
- Customer care had no response.
Dentalworks is taking advantage of patients who are chronically ill and have TMJ. Charging $2k cash for Botox shots and appointments available the next day.
When you don't agree to an immediate appointment and return still in pain, it goes up to 4k cash. You are sent to a location off-site, not a Dentalworks office or phone number. The Medina location was closed down because of the dentist soliciting and is on trial now. This just happened to a good friend who is also chronically ill in the Strongsville location.
I tried to report this to Dentalworks several times and got no response.
Their customer care support does not exist. Shame on you, Dentalworks; you are failing your customers!

Verified ReviewerOverpayment/teeth replaced
- Paid the full amount after disputing insurance and am awaiting a refund.
- Implants arrived but the dentist couldn't place them due to no tool and delays.
I complained to the billing person that I was overpaying because I knew what my insurance was paying. She did not agree, so I paid the full amount when I got home.
I called my insurance company and was told how much they were paying towards this, and I called the office of Dental Works back to explain. Still waiting on money. Plus, I was having two implants done and was just waiting for the teeth to come in. When the teeth did come in, I was told to come in for an appointment to have the teeth put in.
After being at my appointment, I was told by the dentist that he could not put the teeth in due to no tools to put my teeth in. He even showed me the teeth that had come in. I was told they would overnight the tool and call me at the beginning of the week to have the teeth put in.
Well, three weeks later, several calls later, and I'm still waiting for somebody to return my calls. No money returned and no teeth put in.

Verified ReviewerUnprofessional dentists and out to cheat you for a service that's free
- Jan 2025 appointment; booked until June 2025, staff unprofessional.
- Only X-ray; deep cleaning offered at $186, but cleaning is free yearly.
I made an appointment for a teeth cleaning in Jan 2025; they were booked till June 2025. So I go to Dental Works on Park Ave in Memphis, and they tell me that I'm not getting a teeth cleaning today, just an X-ray.
I waited 6 months for this cleaning, and the doctor said not today. So I go back and forth with her, and then she said I can get the teeth cleaning, but it's going to be a deep cleaning, which costs 186 dollars. I don't need a deep cleaning; I get a free cleaning once a year.
So I wasn't going to pay this amount, so I just left Dental Works. They are truly unprofessional.

Poor corporate business practices
- Dental Works won't pay Miday Dental Lab for Belden, Parma, Mayfield, Avon services.
- Months of email runaround from Corporate; invoices were sent.
Dental works will not pay Miday Dental Lab who they use for their Belden, Parma, Mayfield, and Avon offices who we provided our services to. I would give zero stars if I could .
Been in email run around with Corporate office for months and have sent every invoice they requested. Its a shame how big corporations want to step on local small business like ants.
User's recommendation: If you are a dental lab business BEWARE!
Horrible service
- Original orthodontist quit; daughter had months without care.
- Retainers ripped; promised free replacement within a year with the pieces; billed $450.
If I could rate them 0 stars, I would. Im not even sure where to begin.
During my daughters orthodontic treatment, the original orthodontist quit, and she went months without any adjustments or care. I was left uncertain about what to do next. Months later, a new orthodontist started, and they removed her braces but failed to properly clean the glue off her teeth, requiring them to be shaved down. Then, they scheduled a fitting for her retainers and told us the earliest available appointment was two months away.
I had to complain, knowing her teeth would shift during that time. Eventually, they agreed to call us when the retainers came in and just hand them to us.
Within a couple of months, the retainers ripped, and later, our dog got ahold of them. We had been assured that if anything happened within the first year, theyd replace them for free as long as we had the pieces. I kept the pieces and scheduled an appointment.
But on the day of the appointment, they called to tell me it would cost $450 to replace the top retainer. When I reminded them of what we were told, they said I needed to provide documentation. They should have had this in their records, but of course, they didnt.
I found another review stating the same thing and called them back, only to be asked where I saw the review. They offered to do half the price instead.
When I asked to speak to a manager, I was told she was out of the office. When I requested the corporate number, they gave me a false one. I never received a callback. Ive already spent so much on braces and received terrible service.
I refuse to give them another dollar. Save yourself the trouble and go elsewherethis place is a complete joke.
User's recommendation: Look else where
Not happy with dental works, mean people and not knowlegable people. Called to say I wanted different hygentist and said I had to take who they said I told lady noway
More professional and polite people, then after I got my teeth cleaned by someone else they text me to say I was due for a cleaningi rate 0

Horrible, fraudulent practices.
- They owe me an overpayment.
- They ignored Medicare, UHC, and BBB.
- I sent proof they cashed the overpayment; I will contact the Ohio Dental Board.
They owe me money, an over payment. Have ignored all contact from Medicare, UHC and the BBB.
I have contacted them and sent them a copy of the over payment that they cashed and deposited. This has been going on for a year.
Will now go to the Ohio Dental Board.
User's recommendation: Stay away, fraudulent practices.
The office where I went is trying to get me to pay more after I paid what I was told too
- I gave insurance info; staff said I had great coverage would be paid.
- I paid $1,314, but now they say I had no coverage and want me to pay again.
Trying to tell me to pay it. I gave the girl my insurance info.
She ran it and told me I had great ins. Atnea ins was going to pay 1.444.00. And I was to pay 1.314.00 which I paid that now they saying office girl that I didn't have coverage and pay that money. I'm not paying it for it wasn't my fault the girl didn't look at my ins.

Verified ReviewerI'm a 20 year customer that has been brushed aside
- Chicago had 10 years of cleanings.
- Bloomingdale lasted 11 years with multiple dentists.
- Crown lengthening twice for a defective crown; Glen Ellyn.
My original office was located in Chicago in which I attended for 10 yrs regular cleanings, etc. My second office was located in Bloomingdale in which I attended for roughly 11 yrs, sadly the office closed down plus in the time I was there had at least 8 different dentists and 4 hygienists.
While there I had went thru a crown lengthening procedure TWICE on the same tooth/bone/gum line due to defective crown. Now the office has closed and gone and I was sent to the Glen Ellyn office to which they want to work on the same tooth after this dentist said it was defective yet charge me full price...Oh and to make things better they are telling me that my customer files don't exist.

- Two-week training at Denta Works in Beaver County.
- Christina, the office manager, bullied me and spoke to patients.
- She irritated me when I cleaned.
I was in training as dental assisting there in Beaver at Denta Works in Beaver county and only there two weeks, was terribly bullied by office manager Christina. She would make horrible comments about me to the patients up in front and I heard every bit of it.
Christina would get irritated when I cleaned around the place. She despised me for no reason.
Shed talk about me to the employees in the lounge area where I would hear even some of the employees going along and cutting me down. Not all, but they know who they are.
- Working with a bully and not trusting others
User's recommendation: I would not advise anyone to work there.

Verified Reviewer |Money hungry liars, Con artists
- Dentures quoted at $2,500, then rose to $5,000 a month later after $3,000 insurance; patient, in cancer remission, wanted teeth fixed post-chemo.
When to get an estimate on getting the rest of my teeth pulled and getting dentures. First of all they were at least five times higher than any place else I went to but they said that they could do it right away so I was going to go with it anyway.
I've been fighting two different kinds of cancer for over 10 years and I finally was told I was in remission and I was so looking forward to getting my teeth fixed finally cuz chemo just destroyed them over the years but when I went back in I was told the price went from $2,500 to $5,000 in just over a month. And that's after what my insurance paid which was $3,000. I was just crushed and when I asked why I was told cuz things had gotten worse. Oh come on I only had 13 teeth and I still only have 13 teeth how much worse could it have gotten in one month?
My thoughts are they saw that I was really desperate and was willing to pay they're ridiculously high prices so why not see if we can get a little more from the guy. Well this guy is desperate but he's not stupid.
I just about lost all faith in mankind that day all because of some greedy bastards who care nothing of their fellow man only the greenback dollar. Sad
- Good actors
- Bullshitters and i fell for it
Preferred solution: I would like my teeth fixed but I know that's not going to happen. at least not from dental works .so nothing I guess

- They said it's not their problem.
- Complaint took five months to respond; excuses given.
- I felt cheated.
Irresponsible clinic ! Did a lousy teeth alignment job and then said not their problem.
Don't go to dentalworkz. Made a complain and took them 5 months to come back to revert claiming nothing they can do about the lousy job they did.
Gave all sorts of excuses although none is valid. I felt so cheated.
