After receiving a crown on one of my molars over the course of a year it slowly fractured then eventually broke (yesterday). I don't know whether to approach them for repairs or go to another dentist. As noted earlier on another review, I also was pressured to undergo 'deep cleaning' as well and was denied a standard cleaning. The industry will not continue to support this business model and... Went here because my insurance said I had too. After my exam they said I needed a deep cleaning and laser which was going to be 1600.00. My insurance would pay 1000.00. When I said I could not afford that they would not clean my teeth. My insurance pays for a regular cleaning and they would not do it. Add comment

Barbie at the front desk does not know how to do her job, she checked my insurance and said I was covered my cleaning costed $35, when I went in to get my filling they hit me with a $316 bill stating my insurance didn't cover me. They are rude and snobby. Add comment

I started to do a bridge removal and route canals in january. I did not return to complete the work because i lost my job and my insurance. I received a phone call to come in and finish the work. I advised that i lost my job and was told on the phone that the insurance was already charged in january, and that i had to just finish the work. I agreed and made an appointment. In march, i went in and... Read more

Went to the Indianapolis Dental Works office to have my teeth cleaned and it wasn't a pleasant experience. The Hygienist was singularly focused on running up the bill with items that, as it turns out, were not in good practice and were not covered by insurance. When my gum pockets proved too shallow to qualify for premium cleaning billing the hygienist kept probing deeper despite my objections... Read more

Just got off phone with the collection agency DentalWorks sold me to. I was there in December for my crown treatment. I paid my portion of the bill while they were supposed to claim the rest of the amount from my insurance company. They forgot to do that. I got a letter in April saying that I owe them over $600. I called them up and they admitted that its their mistake. They promised me that they... Read more

I had a filling come out on a Saturday morning. My regular dentist doesn't work weekends, so I went to Dental Works for a temporary filling to get me through the weekend. I explained exactly what I needed. Even so, they tried to take 16 x-rays! I told them they could take one x-ray of the tooth that needed filled. The assistant looked a little confused until another assistant told her to only... Read more

First off, I want to say that Dental Works at the Chapel Hill Mall in Akron, Ohio is not all bad. The orthodontist provides AMAZING services, and I would recommend Dr. Skorobatckyj to anyone who is in need of an orthodontist. Since I had such a good experience with the orthodontist office, I decided that this would be my main dentist office. However, my last visit proved this to be a bad... Read more

I called to schedule an appoitment to have an impacted wisdom tooth extracted and was told the cost would be 200.00 to 500.00 so i made an appoitment and went in. It was actually 1500.00 that the lady at the desk said. I never even saw the surgeon. I was charged for a consultation that i never had, and xrays. I couldn't afford that, so i paid extra for a copy of the xrays to bring them to another... Read more

Made an appointment because my top teeth are shifting backwards, making my teeth hit when I chew causing them to hurt. I told the receptionist that was why I needed an appointment. I showed up and they called my previous dentist for insurance information, x-rays, and documentation. When I was called back, they immediately started taking x-rays (I thought that was to see where my teeth were... Read more
