I had an appointment at 9:30 on 4/25/16 to get my teeth cleaned. They also did a bunch of xrays and examined my gums and my teeth and discover a few things so while i am discussing what insurance will pay they start on another patient. At 11:00 they tell me its going to be 30 mins before they can get back to me did i want to leave and come back or reschedule my cleaning and the filling i needed. Ive already been there since 9:30 so i wait. At 11:45 they finally come back and say its now going to be 1:00 before i am done did i want to... Read more

I went to the dental works on wonder drive in kannapolis n.c. had to have an upper denture due to my teeth chipping from being "soft". Had all my top teeth pulled, and a temporary denture put in. Went to have my permanant denture made. All went well. Dentist sent finished product to me polished. Came back like teeth for a horse. The lab messed up and added a ton to it. I was only supposed to go there and get them. Over an hour of messing with the horse teeth, filing it down, trying to fix my ***, my mouth was tore up and bleeding. I told them... Read more

I went in for routine dental exam and a cleaning.cracked tooth after multiple hammer hits 2 years in row pounded on small crack seemed to be trying to make it worse. Tooth was sore several days in a row. I eventually needed a crown. I would not go here. 1st small tap then a much harder one as if trying to crack tooth so they could create more work. and charge me money for a filling and or crown or replacement. Wish I had never been looking for a cheap dentist. I should have sought damages. I would not recommend this place to anyone. A friend... Read more

I had two teeth extracted from the Elyria, Ohio Dental Works office on 3-26-16 I really don't like going to the dentist but the pain was unbearable. I was leaving with my family on 3-27-16 to go out of town for about a week. While I was out of town I had to go to my mom's dentist twice since I have gotten dry socket in from the extractions I still have dry socket and couldn't get an appointment with a dentist on 4-1-16 when we got home earlier then expected. I am in so much pain and its 4-2-16 I don't know if I can make it til Monday so Dental... Read more

I love Dr. Leu but needs to find another company to work for, they are losing business cause they just lost my husband & myself! Stay away is my opinion! Read more

We have had bad experiences at the Dental Works offices in High Point and Lexington, NC. I have had problems with both my upper and lower dentures from the start. Because of the loss of bone in my lower jaw they told me that I would need implants put in. They assured me that with these implants my plate would be stable and tight like they were my natural teeth. They have been lose and wobbled from the time they were put in. I have tried adhesives to stabilize them but that doesn't work. I have been to their office several times for adjustments... Read more

Dental works is a scam. Had three very bad experinces at two locations. In all three situations after asking if they were in network for my insurance they said yes. Then they would switch dentist that were not in network and bill insurance. The bill would then be way more because of using out of network dentist. They always used same excuse that it was a new dentist and he was in network but they were waiting on certification. Huge bait and switch scam. Do not use any dental works dentist. Read more

I went to Dentalworks because it was the closest location that offered the most coverage with my insurance. They told me they would not do a standard cleaning on my teeth because I needed a periodontal cleaning, which cost $500 instead of a standard free cleaning. They also stated I had 4 cavities that needed immediate attention, and my crown I just had done less than a year ago needed replaced. They would not do any of this until I got the periodontal cleaning done. A total of over $5,000 in dental work. Needless to say I didn't have it done,... Read more

Akron Ohio Chapel Hill You' ll be hearing from me shortly. One pissed Vietnam Veteran.! Add comment

My assessment was $1500 out of pocket, so I refused. Two weeks later I received a call saying the dentist would write off $1000, my insurance would pay $1000, and I would be responsible for $23. After the procedure, I was told that I owed nothing that day. Then I received a bill from CareCredit showing a balance of $973. I disputed this bill. Now, I have been turned over to a collection agency. Owing over $1300. As far as the root canal, it presses into my gum, causes pain & constant bleeding, and the color does not match my other teeth. I... Read more
